Tiddenfoot Water Park

Tiddenfoot Water Park Designated as a County Wildlife Site, Tiddenfoot Waterside Park is a disused sandpit containing a lake, grassland, woodland and a popular plantation with an amazing 33 acres of walks and cycle paths. It is also the location of the annual Leighton Linslade Canal Festival, which attracts 4,000 visitors interested in rural crafts, folk music and wildlife. It really is so easy to get to. Simply follow the same directions as for the Grand Union Canal, then turn left down the towpath after crossing the canal on the bridge on the old railway track (25 minutes walk, 10 minutes cycle). Tiddenfoot Waterside Park is a wonderful place to walk, cycle, and fish (under lease with the Leighton Buzzard Angling Club) or just pack a picnic in your cycle bag and bike over there with the whole family!
