Local Market

The Town has market days every Tuesday and Saturday, plus a fantastic Farmers Market in the High Street on the 3rd Saturday of every month 9:00am to 3:30pm, which offers a great array of locally grown produce.
The majority of traders at the market are local townspeople, with many years’ experience and local knowledge. There are many stalls including a fresh fish stall, a butchers, two fresh fruit stalls (with local produce), a shoe stall, sweet stall and flower stall with many years trading experience between them

As well as amazing produce and value, something else you will be sure to receive from the market traders is the personal touch. The traders always have time to talk to and offer advice to their customers.
